Book Review🌸
Through Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Dear Ijeawele, I learn, relearn and unlearn so many things. Life has become what it is and I never thought of question it but through her words, I am starting to see life differently, I am starting to question why it should be done this way when it could be so better the other way.
I especially love what she said about options. Gain as much knowledge as you can so that you could be filled with opinions.
I honestly wish I read this when I was still in high school, maybe I could've better justify the injustice I felt and didn't know how to state it. I for one have to learn and unlearn so many things.
A well-written letter and I am glad it got turned I a book for all of us to enjoy.
Side note: my children will be raised with ideas from this book and I can't wait to see what beautiful people they will turn out to be.
RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
