Cape Town Fish Market

Have you ever heard of the Cape Town Fish Market? If yes, was your first thought "Oh it must be in Cape Town". If not, that was my first thought hence the name.

I have been seeing pictures with location tags of the Cape Town Fish Market but I never bothered to see where it was on the map as it blatantly said Cape Town in the name. I guess I should have clicked the link.

I went to the Cape Town Fish Market for a birthday celebration (I didn't know it was a birthday celebration at the start so imagine my embarrassment). The birthday celebration was wholesome and I loved every moment of being there ( thank you for inviting me yet again <3), our table was filled with laughter, jokes, conversation, picture taking, and of course food.

The restaurant serves great seafood even though it is more expensive compared to the coastal regions which are understandable. They have a variety of seafood; from salmon, tuna, hake, kingklip, prawns, mussels, crab legs, shrimp you name it. They also serve sushi and salads and if you aren't a seafood person, lucky for you because they have steak.

The bathroom is great for taking pictures for my picture-loving readers. It has a huge mirror and a chair you could sit on. With good lighting and a great background, when the stall doors are closed, who won't be tempted to steal a few bathroom selfies while there.

Yes, there is indoor and outside seating as well and if you get cold while outside, don't be shy to ask for a blanket from a server.
