Little Big Things

I did something that I haven't done in a long while. I attended an event on my own. I went to the Little Big Things art exhibition host at the Woermannhaus Gallery.

The art exhibition is hosted each year and this year's theme was "The Sky is the Limit". Entries are open to anyone who is above the age of 14.

Well, I attended the opening and it was lovely to rekindle my affair with the arts. This exhibition had anonymous entries so I won't be able to tell you who the artists were. But I can tell you this, I have my very first canvas there up on a wall and that is exciting news for me.

There were some beautiful pieces, abstract and think pieces as well. Each artist had a limit to five entries. All canvases were grouped according to aesthetics, like this picture on the right. All flower themed.

All canvases were of different mediums. Like this one on the left, not really what you would expect is it? There was collages, intricate brush strokes and pen art.

The think piece that caught my eye, was the one with a music score sheet in the back and birds with what seems to be fog painted on it. I dubbed this one "Song Birds".

You can catch the exhibition until the 14th of Nov at the Woermannhaus Gallery. You should go as soon as you can though because the pieces are one sale so you might not find any if go later.

PS. I have a reel posted on my Instagram, dnovah_ , for all the people that wanted pictures.
I get awkward taking pictures and I don't want to saturate the posts with just pictures. Let me know what you think if the video.
