Moro Noodle Bar

My last adventure of the year and definitely one with the most memorable food, the Moro Noodle Bar (@moro_coffee_trailer). I heard of the noodle bar at the Nedbank Food Festival yet I never got to make a stop by their stall. Luckily, they are located at Maerua Mall, in a cosy nook, and my best friend (who is also my lover boy) and I just had to seize this opportunity.

Once there, we were bombarded with so many options to choose from. They had a breakfast menu listing the Taldeje, Miso Ramen, Vegan Boa Bun and the Moro Breakfast Boa. From the description of the breakfast buns, I could tell they are delicious. The Taldeje is made up of chicken, avocado and parsley while the Miso Ramen has Barbecue beef and slaw.

Seeing as we just had lunch before arriving at the noodle bar, we only ordered one bowl to share. Yet again, we were stunted with the options but we finally decided on the Thai Chicken and Ginger Noodles. The noodles were delicious, there was just the right amount of ginger, the chicken was tender and the creamy sauce was luscious and flavourful. After eating all the noodles in the bowl, there was still sauce left and I wasn't going to let all that umami flavour be sent back to the kitchen, so we got spoons and cleaned the bowl right up.

We agreed then and there, after finishing our bowl of noodles, that we will be coming back. The menu is filled with so many selections and they don't only have noodles and buns but spring rolls, dumplings, egg fried rice and so forth. Yet, we might come back for the Ramen or for some Chow Mein, still to be decided on

Come to think of it, I am so glad I didn't make a stop by the Noodle Bar stall at the food festival as I would not have had the chance to appreciate it as much as I did on this day. I can't wait to come back for my second serving.
