Welcome

Heyyyyy... And Welcome. Welcome to 2022, I know it is March but I usually use the first two months as trials and to defrost. So, welcome to my blog to the new readers and especially the former readers for still being here. I appreciate you all.

I am going to do a 'This is the Blogger' challenge and here goes. I am Diana, a multidimensional young woman from Swakopmund who loves adventure. Blogging wasn't something I thought of doing, it kind of just happened. It started when my friends would ask me what place I went to after posting a picture. After that, I decided to write about the places so that the people that are too shy to ask, have a platform to look at and find information.

The writing started in my home town and gradually it is branching out to Windhoek, the capital city. It has also branched out to book reviews because I have rekindled my love affair and I thought to myself, why not share it with other people as well?

So last year, I had a goal of reaching 1000+ views on my blog and I did it with the help of all my readers. So, thank you again. Well, this year, on the 11th of February, I got featured in the Weekender insert of The Namibian newspaper through Afterbreak Magazine. The title was 'Namibian Blogs and Podcasts You Should Tune Into'. This right here was a milestone for me. I was overjoyed when I read the article on Butterflies and Blue and could not believe we came so far.

The plan for this year is to do more and hopefully multiply what has happened through the course of last year. Remember, I am a student and there will be times that I can't write because of a lack of creativity or taking breaks. Yet, I will try to be as consistent as I was last year.

The blog publishing dates will remain the same, Saturday and Sunday at 18h00. Updates will still be posted on my Instagram @dnovah_.

Thank you all for being with me this far. I can't wait to see what the year has installed for us.
