This year, I had 500+ blog views and which is half of what I had last year. This is perfectly fine because why would I expect more when I didn't put in the work? These views came with only 14 blogs which means I got more views per post this year, compared to last year. The most viewed posts this year would be two book reviews tied for first place. They are 'Butter Honey Pig Bread' by Francesca Ekwuyasi and 'People We Meet on Vacation' by Emily Henry.
Butterflies and Blue still has only been read on 6 out of 7 continents with Australia being difficult to crack through. The top 5 countries that have read the blog would be Namibia, the United States, Germany, South Africa, and lastly the United Kingdom. Thank you to all my readers this year. Even though I didn't give you much to read, you still clicked the link and for that I am grateful.
This year, with reflection on the blog, I have learned that if you don't put in the work the results will reflect it. What I have learned can be used in all aspects of life. If you want better marks, you put in the work. If you want to achieve your goals, you put in the work. Next year, I will be putting in the work, not only into my blog but into my life. I hope you all put in the work in order to live out your dreams.
Remember not to beat yourself up when you don't get to where you want to. Life can happen and it is perfectly okay if it does.
xoxo
